Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 full ears fresh corn
    3/4 c. bacon fat or 1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
    1/2 Tbsp. black pepper or to taste
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut the corn from the cob by making 2 cuts per grain, then scrape the cob.
    You will obtain a consistency of cream-style corn.
    Heat slightly, a frying pan with oil.
    Mix water and corn; place mixture in frying pan.
    Add cornmeal, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Stir to mix well.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring regularly, to prevent sticking.
    Cook until corn is tender.
    Add more water if necessary.
