Chocolate Nut Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. bitter chocolate
    1/4 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    2 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. utter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate.
    Add syrup, milk, sugar, butter and salt.
    Mix all ingredients together and boil slowly until forms a soft ball in water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Beat until creamy.
    Add nuts and beat until thick. Pour on buttered dish.
    Form into a roll on waxed paper.
    Set in refrigerator and let cool and thinly slice in desired pieces.
