Mandarin Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 (9 oz.) container whipped topping
Preparation
    Heat the crushed pineapple and jello over low heat until jello melts.
    Take off heat.
    Add buttermilk, cottage cheese and cut up oranges.
    Chill a little while, until mixture begins to thicken and cool.
    Fold in the Cool Whip.
    Pour into a bowl.
    Save some of the oranges to put on top.
    Makes a pretty dish.
    You can decorate with leftover oranges, if you like.
