Mrs. Wintle'S Miniature Tart Shells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    6 Tbsp. water (approximately)
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt; cut in shortening until the size of large peas.
    Sprinkle water over mixture until smooth dough is formed. Roll on floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Cut into 2 1/2-inch rounds to fit 1 3/4-inch muffin tins.
    Prick!
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until a light, golden brown.
