Veal Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. veal
    1/2 lb. fresh pork
    1/2 c. top milk or cream
    sage
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 c. rolled crackers
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    onion seasoning
Preparation
    Grind meat.
    Blend all ingredients.
    Bake, uncovered, in 2 loaves.
    Baste with hot water to which little butter has been added.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours.
    Or bake in 1 loaf about 2 hours, uncovered.
    Before baking, brush top with slightly beaten egg whites.
    Serve hot or cold.
