Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 (3 lb.) head cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 green pepper (optional)
1/2 red pepper (optional)
1/2 shredded carrot (optional)
Preparation

Pour dressing over cabbage and/or optional vegetables and toss to cover.
Let cool to room temperature and refrigerate.
Stir to serve.
Keeps several days.
Great with cornbread and beans!
