Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening with a fork until it looks like coarse meal.
    Add milk slowly.
    Toss on floured board.
    Knead gently; roll 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut biscuits. Bake at 400\u00b0 in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
