Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    8 c. sifted plain flour
Preparation
    Bring the milk and Crisco to barely a boil. Add the sugar and salt. Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
    Add to milk mixture which you have let cool. Add 4 cups flour. Cover and let rise about 15 to 30 minutes. Stir down and add about 4 more cups flour. Put into refrigerator until ready to use.
    It keeps for about a week or you can partially bake and then freeze.
