Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Pet milk, diluted with 2 Tbsp. water
    1/3 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, milk and water in saucepan.
    Cook slowly, stirring occasionally to 236\u00b0 or until a few drops form a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool at room temperature without stirring until lukewarm, or until the hand can be held comfortably on the bottom of pan.
    Add peanut butter, vanilla and butter.
    Beat until thick and pour into buttered plate or square dish.
