Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch (can use flour)
pinch of salt
2 c. milk
2 eggs, separated
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Add 1/4 cup milk.
Blend until smooth.
Add remaining milk.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Cook until thickens.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla and coconut. Cover for 5 minutes.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue and bake.
