Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    2 beaten eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar, molasses, 2 beaten eggs and flour.
    Combine.
    Then add remainder of ingredients. Beat until smooth.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
