Shipwreck - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
    1 c. rice
    1 medium onion
    1 can tomatoes (28 oz.)
    2 cans sliced potatoes (16 oz. cans)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown ground beef or ground turkey in pan and drain off excess grease and set beef aside.
    Cook rice as directed on box, then in large skillet on top of stove put some ground beef on bottom of pan and a layer of rice, then a layer of potatoes and on top put some slices of onions and on top of this put some tomatoes and salt and pepper.
    Now repeat all of this for your second layer and end up with tomatoes on top.
    Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
