Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. nuts
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add cream mixture alternately with buttermilk and jam.
    Add vanilla, nuts and raisins.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in tube pan.
