Spaghetti And Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    5 fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped, or 1 large can tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can unsalted tomato paste
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. fennel seed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dry spaghetti, cooked
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in a large skillet; pour off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients, except for spaghetti.
    Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    If sauce appears too thick, add water.
    Serve over spaghetti.
