Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 egg yolks
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 qt. milk
    1 fifth rum
    1 qt. heavy whipping cream
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until light in color.
    Add sugar and beat again.
    Stir in milk and rum. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Whip the cream, then fold into chilled mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Makes 20 servings.
