Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 or 5 green tomatoes
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes 1/4-inch thick.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix meal, flour and sugar and cover tomatoes.
    Fry in oil or butter, about 1/4-inch, in frypan.
    Cook 2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towel.
