Crunchy Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked regular rice
    1 can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 c. chopped green onion
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/4 c. rice vinegar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation
    Cook rice, omitting salt.
    Cool.
    Combine rice and next 5 ingredients.
    Combine vinegar, oil and soy sauce.
    Pour over rice mixture.
    Toss lightly.
    Chill.
    Serves 10 to 12.
