Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 (8 oz.) cream cheese (let set at room temperature)
    5 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. fresh lime juice (optional)
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup sugar with cream cheese; add eggs, one at a time. Add salt and almond flavoring.
    Pour into spring-form pan.
    Bake for 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Remove from oven; cool for 20 minutes. Mix sour cream, remaining sugar and vanilla.
    Pour over cheese cake.
    Bake for 10 minutes longer.
