German Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. caramels
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt first 2 ingredients in pan.
    Keep warm and set aside.
    Mix the next 4 ingredients; pour 1/2 of the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle chocolate chips and dollop on caramel mixture.
    Pour the rest of the cake batter on top.
    Bake an additional 18 to 20 minutes.
    Cool and put in the refrigerator for 3 minutes before cutting!
