White Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    6 c. lukewarm water
    2 Tbsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    5 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Soften yeast in 1 cup of water; let stand. Combine 5 cups of water, salt, sugar and shortening; add yeast mixture and 1 cup of flour.
    Beat on high for 1 minute, then hand mix, a little at a time, the rest of the flour.
    Knead for 10 minutes on floured board or table.
    Place in a greased bowl; let rise until doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
