Deluxe Chipped Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. chipped beef
    1/4 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onion and cook.
    Add torn chipped beef and cook until frizzled.
    Blend in flour.
    Add milk, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
    Add sour cream, mushrooms, cheese and parsley.
    Blend.
    Heat to serving temperature and serve over toast or scrambled eggs.
    Garnish.
    Makes 4 servings.
