Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups pretzels (crushed)
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1 1/2 sticks margarine (melted)
    1 - 8 ounce cream cheese
    1 - 12 ounce container whipped topping
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 - 6 ounce package strawberry gelatin
    1 cup pecans (chopped)
    1 cup apples (chopped)
    1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
Preparation
    Mix crushed pretzels with 3 tablespoons sugar and margarine and press into bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
    Bake for 8 minutes at 400 degrees.
    Cool.
    Combine cream cheese, whipped topping and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Mix well.
    Spread in top of pretzel crust.
    Mix gelatin according to package directions.
    Refrigerate until almost set.
    Add apples, pecans and strawberries.
    Spoon on top of cream cheese and refrigerate overnight.
    Serve cold.
