Orange Salad 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
    2 c. large curd cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (6 oz.) orange gelatin
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. coconut
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients.
    Sprinkle gelatin over mixture and stir well.
    Spoon into 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Sprinkle coconut and nuts over salad.
    Chill about 6 hours.
