Christmas Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large jar kosher dills
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Drain pickles and slice lengthwise.
    Place back in jar.
    Add sugar, celery seed and onion.
    Pour vinegar over pickles.
    Seal. Keep turning jar until sugar is dissolved.
    Refrigerate.
