Blushing Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 red baking apples
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Core the apples and peel halfway down. Place apples in a baking dish, with the peeled side up.
Melt the butter, then stir in the flour, cinnamon and brown sugar.
Spoon the mixture onto the tops and into the centers of the apples. Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake 10 minutes until crusty, then lower the heat to 350\u00b0.
Bake 30 minutes until tender.
