Thunderbolt Kraut Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

2/3 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. water
2/3 c. sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and chopped
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. rum (optional)
1 Tbsp. instant coffee with chicory (Luzianne)
Preparation

Whip cream with remaining ingredients until peaks form. Spread on cake.
