Cranberry-Orange Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
grated peel of 1 orange
3/4 c. chopped cranberries
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. fresh orange juice
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar into medium-sized mixing bowl.
Stir in oats, grated orange peel and chopped cranberries.
Add oil, egg, orange juice and milk.
Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour batter into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 60 to 65 minutes.
Cool on wire rack about 10 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool thoroughly.
Wrap cooled bread and store one day before slicing.
