Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 cans tomato soup
    4 cans kidney beans (15 oz.)
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 carrots, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    chili powder to taste
    garlic (optional)
Preparation
    In saucepan, fry beef, garlic and onion until brown.
    Add all other ingredients and cook at low temperature about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Serve with Italian bread or rolls.
