Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium-large sweet potatoes or 1 can sweet potatoes
    1/2 stick butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    enough milk to make moist and smooth
    pinch of baking powder
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Cook the potatoes and mash.
    Combine with other ingredients. Pour in pastry shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes; reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 30 minutes.
