Diane'S Shrimp Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter or margarine
    1/4 c. fresh garlic, minced
    2 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp (large)
    2 pt. half and half
    1 small jar Velveeta cheese (regular)
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. black pepper
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    Saute butter and garlic, then add shrimp and mushrooms.
    Saute for approximately 5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink.
    Add half and half, Velveeta cheese, and pepper.
    Saute for a minute or two, then add Parmesan cheese and saute approximately 10 minutes. Serve over angel hair pasta.
    Makes about 6 servings.
