Cranberry Conserve - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. cranberries
1/4 lb. raisins
2/3 c. cold water
1 orange, chopped
2/3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 lb. sugar
1/2 lb. walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Cook berries in cold water.
Put through strainer.
Add boiling water.
Add raisins, chopped orange and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add nut meats.
Store in refrigerator or pour into sterilized jars and seal with wax when cool.
