Chicken With Dumplins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, cut up
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. water
    1 sliced onion
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 1/3 c. milk
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 c. prepared biscuit mix
Preparation
    Brown chicken in skillet in butter.
    Add water, onion and seasoning.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir in soup and 1 cup milk.
    Add vegetables.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and reduce heat.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Combine biscuit mix and remainder of milk.
    Drop by spoonfuls into stew.
    Cook 10 minutes.
    Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
