Macaroon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. toasted coconut
    1/3 c. almonds, finely chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour loaf pan.
    Mix in large bowl.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Beat each addition.
    Add almond extract.
    Add flour to creamed mixture and beat thoroughly.
    Add coconut; pour into pan.
    Blend chopped almonds and sprinkle over top of loaf.
    Bake for 1 hour. Cool slightly and remove from pan.
    Cool and enjoy.
