Swiss Steak Mozzarella - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef round steak (1/2-inch thick)
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cut meat into serving size pieces; coat with flour.
    Melt butter in a skillet.
    Brown meat slowly on both sides.
    Put into a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
    Combine tomatoes, salt, basil and green pepper; pour over meat.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
    Remove cover; sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
    Makes 8 servings.
