Opal'S Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
2 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
6 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water; set aside.
Combine sugar and shortening in 2 cups warm water.
Add 3 cups flour and yeast; mix well.
Then add remaining flour, mix well and let rise until approximately doubled in bulk.
Then place on floured board and work down, then pinch off and use as needed.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
