Baked Beef Brisket - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. fresh beef brisket
3 Tbsp. vinegar
garlic salt or powder
salt and pepper
paprika
Lawry's seasoned salt
Accent
parsley
large onion
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Put the brisket into a 9 x 13-inch pan, fat side up. Pour vinegar over the top. Cover top of the brisket heavily with the garlic salt, salt, pepper, paprika, Lawry's seasoned salt, Accent and parsley. Slice the onion over the top of the meat. Add 1/2 cup of water. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes until brown. Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and add 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. Cover with foil. Bake until tender, about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Refrigerate overnight. Slice cross-grain very thinly. Put back in juices and reheat. Makes fantastic sandwiches.
