Old-Fashioned Spiced Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 tsp. ground mace
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. brown sugar
    6 large eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate morsels
Preparation
    Blend spices and salt with butter or margarine.
    Gradually add sugar, mixing well after each addition.
    Beat in 5 eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition, until completely blended.
    Stir in flour all at one time.
    Beat in the remaining egg.
    Turn into a well-greased lightly floured 9 x 3-inch tube cake pan.
    Place in a cold oven.
    Set oven control to 300\u00b0.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours or until cake tester comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 20 minutes.
    Turn out onto wire rack to finish cooling.
    Frost with Confectioners Sugar Glaze.
