White Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    nuts or fruits (raisins are great; 3/4 c. nuts, etc.)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
    Beat egg and milk together. Stir in well beaten egg and milk mixture.
    Add nuts or fruits. Pour into greased bread loaf pan (8 x 4-inch).
    Let stand 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
