Ingredients

2 1/2 c. milk
2 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. half and half
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 c. whipping cream
2 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 tsp. green food coloring
12 oz. mini chocolate chips
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add sugar and salt.
Stir until well dissolved. Add half and half, vanilla and cream.
Add peppermint and coloring.
Cover.
Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
Freeze.
Remove dasher and stir in chocolate chips.
