Skillet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into a large iron skillet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Do not have to frost. Serve while warm with butter or with fresh fruit.
