Mush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. carrots
    1/2 lb. potatoes
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 can mushroom gravy
Preparation
    Peel and boil carrots and potatoes together.
    Drain.
    Add milk and butter; whip until smooth.
    Brown beef and onion.
    Drain fat and then add gravy.
    Put orange potatoes on plate and top with meat and gravy mixture.
    Serve with cabbage and homemade bread or rolls.
