Italian Torta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) pkg. hot roll mix
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
    1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese, drained
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions.
    While dough is rising, brown ground beef and onion; drain fat.
    Add seasonings, water and tomato paste.
    Squeeze excess moisture from spinach and combine with Ricotta cheese.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
