Baked Eye Of Round With Rosemary - cooking recipe
Ingredients

eye of round beef roast
seasoned salt
garlic salt
black pepper
1 tsp. crushed rosemary
1 tsp. shortening
Preparation

Leave meat out of refrigerator prior to cooking; needs to be room temperature.
Leave fat side up when baking.
Season meat 2 days before cooking.
Mix all ingredients together; rub surface of meat with mixture.
Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and refrigerate. Prior to cooking, remove from refrigerator early enough for it to get to room temperature.
Brown meat in shortening.
Place in shallow pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to desired doneness.
For rare, bake 5 minutes per pound; for medium, bake 20 minutes per pound and for well, bake 22 minutes per pound.
