Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. zucchini, cut in slices
    1/2 c. onion, sliced
    1 c. boiling salted water
    2 c. grated cheese (or 1/2 lb.)
    1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    1/4 c. liquid drained from vegetables
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook zucchini and onion in boiling salted water 5 minutes or until tender.
    Drain.
    Save 1/4 cup liquid.
    Alternate layers of vegetables with cheese in dish.
    Pour milk, vegetable liquid, salt and pepper over vegetables.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs and melted butter.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until brown.
