Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. hot peppers, chopped fine
    1 1/4 c. white vinegar
    3/4 c. green bell pepper, chopped fine
    6 oz. Certo
Preparation
    In a large pot place the first 4 ingredients.
    Bring to a rolling boil.
    Cook 1 to 2 minutes on very low heat.
    Remove from heat and stir in Certo.
    Bring pot back to heat and cook for 5 minutes.
    Pour jelly into canning jars and seal.
    Red or green food coloring may be added to mixture for coloring.
    Yields about 4 (1/2-pint) jars.
