Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage, shredded
    1 pepper, sliced paper thin
    2 medium onions, sliced thin and separated into rings
    1 medium size jar pimento, drained
    1 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Layer cabbage, pepper, onions and pimentos; set aside.
    Mix oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed.
    Boil for 2 minutes. Pour hot dressing over vegetables.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
    Keeps for at least a week.
