Ground Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables
    2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 medium onion, peeled and diced
    1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in a large skillet; drain.
    Add tomatoes and mixed vegetables with liquid.
    Add potato, onion and garlic. Season to taste.
    Simmer, uncovered, until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 5 servings.
