Gertrude'S Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. summer squash, sliced and parboiled
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 large onion, grated
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1 stick margarine, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients and pour into a greased casserole dish.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
    Top with sliced almonds before serving, if desired.
    Serves 8 to 10.
