Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2/3 c. milk
dash of salt
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 to 3 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Mix sugar, cocoa and milk in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Let boil while stirring occasionally for approximately 8 minutes, until at the soft-ball stage. Take off heat and add butter and vanilla. Beat in enough confectioners sugar until the desired spreading consistency. Great for yellow cakes and brownies.
