It'S-A-Snap Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatine
    1 c. boiling water
    2 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
    1/2 c. sugar
    9-inch graham cracker crust
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix Knox and sugar; add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
    With mixer, beat in cream cheese and vanilla until smooth.
    Pour into prepared crust; chill until firm, about 2 hours.
    Top, if desired, with fresh or canned fruit.
    Makes about 8 servings.
